Generations of Australian women used the Fowlers Vacola method, to provide for their families.
The centrepiece of this exhibition is displayed in a simple pine cupboard poised on a square of old linoleum its doors open, lined with brilliantly coloured faux fruit and vegetables. It dares you to see things domestic in a different light.
The Exhibition:
Set on linoleum square, white pine 'preserves' cupboard contains twenty-eight
gleaming Fowler's Vacola No.36 glass bottles.

Glass Bottles: 25cm x 10cm (diameter)
Materials:
Hand and machine stitched, hand-coloured cotton.
